Jaimie is the CNC on med-tele. She is an amazing leader; when things are rough, she finds ways to make them less challenging. A unit needs a good leader in times like that. She always remains calm during times of crisis. She thinks fast and, on her feet, and is ten steps ahead of everyone else. She is supportive and knowledgeable.
One night we had multiple fall risk patients down one hallway and call lights ring often. Jaimie recognized that the one hall needed help and concentrated on two fall risk patients since the RN was unable to be available at that time. She started IVs on each of these patients for the RN and continued to round until the RN was able to continue with her care. Jaimie is not afraid to jump in to help. Her primary concern is the safety of our patients and the health and wellbeing of her staff.
