Jaimie Swandal has been serving our Montana community for approximately twenty years, starting out in Lewistown and Livingston, but for the most part blessing the Bozeman community with her services in the Medical/Surgical, Emergency and PACU departments. Several comments from her coworkers and friends are that she is kind to everyone that she comes in to contact with, whether it is a coworker or a patient or a family member or a visitor to our facility. Per her current manager, she is a very knowledgeable and capable nurse. She is an excellent mentor to nursing students and the newly hired employees orienting to her department. She gets along with everyone and sets a great example for her co-workers. She is a great team player, is reliable, dependable and is a fantastic employee.
Along with that, it has been reported that rules matter to this nurse and she is astute in making sure that she is upholding her responsibilities to her employer, her colleagues and every individual and family member that she is caring for. To quote one of her co-workers, "she is just really good at what she does, just really, really good." Her manager and coworkers report that she has never said "no" to anyone who has ever asked for or who she sees needs help. She always finds a way or sets aside her own needs to meet the needs of others. She will go the extra mile for her patient, always.
One example a coworker and friend gave was when a patient from out of town came into the ED with a bad allergic reaction. This patient was frightened and alone and ended up having to stay at a hotel overnight because of her medical issues. Jaimie made up a gift basket special for that patient for her specific needs for her to have at her hotel to make her more comfortable and to feel cared for. Jaimie is an awesome nurse and is an extremely dedicated mom and wife who has a lot of energy to do great, fun, and exciting things with her daughter. Bozeman Health is so fortunate and blessed to have Jaimie as part of our team and our community.
