I have witnessed her innumerable conversations with patients, counseling them on how to approach their continuous challenges. She spends many hours a week dealing with issues such as insurance coverage of patient's medications. In illustration of her matchless work, Jalen has learned how to contact the pharmaceutical companies' assistance programs and almost always finds a way for the patient to get help when he/she cannot afford medications.
