My mother-in-law was in the ICU for two days and was cared for by Jamee. My 89-year-old mother-in-law was intubated on Saturday after an EGD. We received unexpected news regarding her health and had difficult decisions to make. Our family is small: my mother-in-law and father-in-law, my husband, and me.

Throughout her time in the ICU, Jamee was attentive not only to my mother-in-law but also to my father-in-law. The team decided to extubate her. Jamee made sure that my mother-in-law was treated as an individual. Jamee kept her clean, turned, oral care very well done, hair combed. My husband, his dad, and I noticed all her tender, kind acts. They commented several times on how good Jamee was to all of us. She took time to talk to my father-in-law as an individual, asking how long my in-laws had been married, etc. It gave him the opportunity to share, which meant so much to him.

When my mother-in-law passed on Sunday, Jamee felt like another family member who truly cared for us like family. These words can't express how grateful we are for her kind, compassionate, personal nursing care during this difficult time. Her care was beyond extraordinary. Thank you!

Thank you, Jamee, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
