My husband had been in the hospital and transferred to ARU at Mercy after open-heart surgery. His tenure in the hospital was met by many competent nurses and doctors. I would like to recognize James for outstanding service to my husband.
He worked consistently for many days, making my husband comfortable, responding quickly, and adding a bit of humor to this situation. One day, my husband called even after he was off duty and headed home; he stopped and took my husband to the restroom even though another nurse had checked in.
