Zach was nominated by a patient's daughter, after he cared for her mother while awaiting transport to Duke University. The patient worked as an LPN. The daughter stated, "Zach is one of the best nurses in the world, I love and appreciate him with all of my heart. Just after transport loaded Mama up, Zach gathered people from lab, radiology, nursing, housekeeping, and registration, and did a send-off prayer for my Mama! He went above and beyond for her, and we really appreciate it!"
