James was nominated by his Manager. She stated that James took care of a young lady who had fallen and came in due to hip pain. Multiple tests had been completed, all were negative. This patient consistently complained of pain when out of bed but appeared okay. Physicians wanted to discharge the patient due to all tests being negative. However, because the patient was still complaining of pain, James took the time to contact the attending and asked for additional imaging. After a lengthy discussion with the doctor, an MRI was ordered, and the results led to emergent spine surgery the next day. Thank you James for being an amazing Nurse!
