Our teams have had to provide care during a global pandemic for a vulnerable population while dealing with their own fears and loss. Being a nurse leader during this time has presented challenges never experienced before, but James became the calm in the storm. He was steadfast and became a haven of safety for nurses, the entire interdisciplinary team, and for patients and families. James is the epitome of a passionate, dedicated nursing leader. He is hard-working, humble, and leads by example.
