A patient mailed a hand-written card following an ED visit that stated the following: "To Whom It May Concern: I am writing this after being seen in your emergency room. I was transported via ambulance for a severe allergic reaction. My nurse in the ER was James. He was kind, attentive, and calming. While I was there, I went into anaphylactic shock. Although I do not remember anything regarding this, my sister and husband advised that James was a hero during this crisis. He jumped into action making sure that the proper treatment was administered quickly. After I woke up, James stayed and made sure I was okay. He was kind, caring, and calming. He is what every medical professional should strive to become. If I am ever in need of hospital services, I will come to your hospital again because of James and his positive attitude. Thank You."
