My 88-year-old husband had fallen and broken his hip. Surgery followed, then rehab, then back to the hospital. On the third day, James was his nurse.

We have been in many Florida hospitals since his five strokes in 2016. Never have we experienced the nursing care given to my husband by James. He took the time to explain whatever I asked—procedures, schedules, anatomy, equipment, you name it. This nurse spent time explaining it.

He has the most compassionate spirit. This nurse goes above the call of simple care to excellence. He found ways to make my husband even more comfortable than basic care. We watched James care for the other patients with the same compassion. Even when people interrupted him, he never lost his kind composure.

James should train other caregivers. He is a great mentor. The people working with James love to work with him. He understands the importance of unity in a team.

James made us feel like we were important to them. James is the best caregiver ever!
