Jim had a patient whom he cared for every day he worked. Jim never gave up on her. He worked with her, encouraged her, teased her (positively) and did the extra things for her like pedicures and manicures. He sat with her when she was anxious and calmed her fears. The patient was ultimately able to go home, something that most thought impossible. Jim senses distress in his patients. He will often take extra time to sit with them and talk with them.
Jim is a great resource on the floor for clinical and operational issues. He is approachable, a team player, encouraging and fun.
