Here are four nomination letters for James Lea:
Letter 1:
James took his time with my sister and was so concerned and caring. I have been to a lot of emergency rooms with one of my best friends and I have never met anybody that cared as much. He also took his time to explain everything to my sister and the family.
Nominated by: D E, sister of patient
Letter 2:
I was admitted to Baptist DeSoto, my diagnosis was I had two blood clots in my left jugular vein from a prior PIC line. I was so afraid and my nurse, James Lea, was an angel sent from God. James gave me peace of mind and he never left my side. James went above and beyond the call of duty.
Nominated by: S R, patient
Letter 3:
James was very friendly, nice and informational. He was very good about my illness and the things I needed. He also was aware of what I needed to prevent my illness. I felt as if I was family. By far the best visit I have ever had. I really feel that James deserves some kind of recognition for going above and beyond the call of duty. He really knows his job well and cares about the patient and what he does. This was my best and most comfortable visit ever. If I could, I would request him every visit.
Nominated by: L G, patient
Letter 4:
I came to the ED with chest pains just as the shift was changing. My new nurse was James Lea. Being in the ER before with my husband and seeing the care he received in the past, James was a pleasant surprise. He gave me the best care that I have ever seen and stayed with me. My sister was with me. She had just moved back from Oklahoma City where her best friend has been in the hospital 124 times in the last year so she has seen a lot of ER nurses. We both believe that James is the best ER nurse we have ever seen.
Nominated by: I S, patient
