Our mother/wife was planned to be discharged home with Hospice on Friday; James recognized that she would not likely survive the trip. James' assessment and notification to the doctor prompted care to sustain her and allowed us to get to the hospital and share precious time at her side. We are aware that if not for his care and skills, we may have faced a different experience. We are forever grateful and do not want his actions to go unnoticed. James and his PCA made a significant difference in a very difficult time.
