A former critical care nurse, cardiology department manager, and a key member of the hospital’s Rapid Response Team, James brings an extraordinary depth of clinical knowledge and composure to high-acuity situations. His leadership reflects an unwavering professionalism, defined by accountability to himself and others, a deep passion for the nursing profession, and a tireless commitment to advocacy and high standards of care.

In addition to his clinical and administrative leadership, James serves as Chair of both the Ethics Committee and the Resuscitation Committee at MSSN. Through these roles, he has made a significant and lasting impact on patient care across the entire institution. His guidance in ethically complex cases and code response protocols ensures that patients receive care that is not only evidence-based and timely but also aligned with dignity, respect, and ethical integrity.
