James was nominated for this award by a family member for the excellent care he provided to their loved one. They stated,

"I don't think any words could possibly be adequate to express my feelings of gratitude to James. When he was on duty, I felt safe. Somehow, I knew he was going to take care of my husband. It has been quite a journey but along the way I have had the privilege to meet some extraordinary people. James is at the top of that list."
