I have been a patient at Fairview Lakes Wyoming for about 5 days now and I have just been blown away by Nurse Jimmy. Jimmy does, not only all of the little things well that you love from nurses; caring, nice, patient, attentive, and listening, but he couples that with things you don't often see in the medical care industry. He has amazing instincts and shows intuition. Jimmy doesn't wait for the results or what the Drs are telling him to do. He took the time to anticipate and assess and prepare me multiple times for things that were going to happen. And he even did this with the nurses he handed off to. Two nights in a row the night nurse said something like, "Jimmy mentioned you _____". It showed that true level of care, that my success was his success. And that my success was more than just him. On top of all that, he took care of things no one would expect. My door wasn't latching, and I never even mentioned it. Jimmy waited until I was on a hall walk and then I saw him on his knees with tools taking the handle apart and fixing it. I asked him why he did that, and he said, "Well I also submitted a work order for it but it said it was going to be a few days, so I wanted to make sure it latched for you". He is just someone that is willing to go above and beyond when no one expects or asks. I really appreciated him.
