James frequently goes above and beyond for his patients in and out of the Cath Lab. He always finds the time to educate his patients with kindness and compassion while attempting to alleviate their fears. James was nominated by a recent patient. This patient recounts how James "took the time to explain and show me pictures of what each area of occlusion would be located but, he explained things in layman terms or should I say different analogy not only did he explained, educate but, he also came up to the floor to check on me after the procedure". A few days this patient was readmitted, "James came to my room to check on how I was doing. He did not have to - he could have waited but he came up to PCU to talk to me. He went above and beyond by coming up during his break to not only check on me but also to allay my anxiety." James treats everyone like family and truly cares for each and every one of his patients.
