Jami provided my husband and me with more compassion, comfort, and care than we could have ever imagined. At just 24 years old, we found ourselves living every parent’s worst nightmare, welcoming our son into the world at 36 weeks and 4 days, only to learn that he was born sleeping. We were heartbroken, scared, and lost, but Jami surrounded us with such grace and tenderness.

She was my nurse for two days while I was in the hospital, and from the very beginning, she walked us through what to expect as we prepared to deliver our stillborn son. She stayed by my side through it all, helping me through labor, and then continued to care for me postpartum with such patience and love.

Jami helped me out of bed for the first time, assisted me as I changed, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible during the hardest moments of my life. She also helped us create the most precious memories with our sweet baby. She helped me bathe him, dress him, and gently comb his hair. She worked with our photographer to position him so we could have beautiful photos to cherish forever. She even made molds and tiny footprints of his feet, giving us keepsakes we will treasure always.

Jami’s compassion went far beyond her duties; she cared for us like family and felt like another mom to me during those heartbreaking days. Her warmth, empathy, and gentle heart brought us comfort when we needed it most, and we will be forever grateful for the love she showed our family and our sweet baby boy.
