Jamie spent multiple hours coordinating a discharge for a patient, in addition to performing her normal duties and caring for the rest of her patient assignment. The patient and his wife were visiting Michigan from California to buy a new RV, when he had a slip and fall accident and required surgery. After working with pharmacy, physicians, healthcare equipment, and various other departments, the patient's discharge was in order. Jamie also arranged blood draws for the patient while traveling back to California.
