The worst day of my life. My husband and I went for a routine OB appointment only to be told our baby had no heartbeat. We were sent straight to labor & delivery for an evaluation where we were advised labor would be induced and I would have to deliver my stillborn baby. 53 hours later, he was born. All were kind and considerate, but three nurses stood out.

These nurses went above and beyond for my family in their own special way. These women truly embody what it means to be a nurse. My experience would not have been what it was had it not been for these nurses. Jamie Carney was there for the long daytime hours of labor and the birth of our son. She answered all of my questions. She kept me as comfortable as possible. She stayed after her shift was over to complete my care and the care of my baby.
