Jamie demonstrated extraordinary and compassionate care with a patient who was very "down in the dumps," turning away visitors and wanting to sleep all day. During Jamie's lunch break, she brought in a wheelchair, took the patient to see the newborn babies in the nursery window, on an "art tour" throughout the hospital, and took her outside to feel the sunshine on her face. The patient was all smiles and back to her sunny, chatty self when she returned to her hospital room. Jamie helped turn this patient's recovery into a very memorable experience.
