Jamie demonstrated true relationship-based with an ICU patient and his family in March. The patient had a terminal illness and was a NASCAR fan. Jamie’s brother, Ryan Newman, is a NASCAR driver. Jamie called her brother and had him talk to this patient on the phone in the patient’s room. The family and patient were very grateful for Jamie’s effort and her involvement with their loved one. Even though the patient has since passed, the family and Jamie remain in contact.
