Jamie L Ver Voort, BSN, RN, CMSRN

Jamie has been a great team player and enthusiastic nurse to work with. Most of all, she develops meaningful relationships with her patients. She was unable to attend a Code Happy for a past COVID patient on our floor, so she recorded a video of herself giving him the most heartwarming and encouraging message on discharge day. More recently, she adopted a patient's dog that would otherwise have been left at a shelter. The patient was getting discharged for the first time to a rehab facility and was unable to care for his pet, and had no family to help. Jamie always puts patients first, and it shows! She is a great example to both new and experienced nurses in her care, and we love working with her.
