Jamie Linfield, RN

Jamie is always thinking outside of the box for patient care and how to most effectively meet their needs. She was assessing a patient on the unit and found out that he and his wife are both in the hospital at the same time but on different floors. After further talking with the patient she found out that he had not seen his wife in over 3 months as they both have had medical issues and could not be placed in the same facility.

Jamie worked with the case manager, unit managers, nurse, and the nurse on his wife's floor to arrange a visit. She also made sure to include the patient's son who has been running between 2 facilities and 2 floors to visit with his parents. Jamie took her own time to help transport the patient and allow for a visit. She has often been the creative thinker to help provide patients and family members with excellent care.
