My mother was on this unit for two days. Once in her room, Jamie came in and introduced herself and we were thrilled because she took care of my mother a year ago when she had her other knee replaced. She is an excellent nurse. She took her time with my mom and really listened to my mother's needs and responded immediately to find a solution. She showed compassion and care to a stranger. She was always checking on mom and frequently asked if there was anything my mother or I needed. She is an asset to UPMC Jameson and nurses like her build a great reputation for this hospital. She is a wonderful RN and although we only know her through the excellent care she gave, my mom and I have no doubt that she is an excellent caring, and warm person everywhere she goes.
