I went into the ER with chest pains that ended up being a gallbladder attack. Jamie was so patient, caring, and attentive from the start. She made sure that not only I was comfortable and taken care of, but that my husband and mother were too. I ended up being transferred to Springfield Memorial for surgery. She helped when we had questions regarding ambulance transport and explained everything thoroughly. Her shift ended at 11 pm, but she stayed to make sure I got into the ambulance okay and on my way. This was about 12:30 am. She stayed over her scheduled shift for a complete stranger. She could have run out the door, but she didn’t. She said, “I don’t like to pass my patients off.” She’s been on my mind since that night! She’s the true definition of dedication, and she should be recognized!
