Upon arrival as family we were fortunate to meet D's nurse Jamie. From the initial conversation with quite a few questions and concerns we immediately began to feel more at ease because of her professional knowledge and very caring manner in which she communicated with us.
As my husband, the patient, simply but clearly described her: "Jamie makes me feel safe".
Isn't that what makes a nurse exceptional?
