Jamie explains that he responds to "difficult" patients by pulling up a chair and listening to them, recognizing they are oftentimes lonely and in need of attention. He is frequently acknowledged by patients for this type of wonderful care. Recently, a patient mentioned Jamie by name in a discharge phone call. "My discharge nurse, Jamie, is an excellent caregiver. He was very attentive, caring and anticipated my needs. He is unbelievably great!"
