Jamie Persaud, RN

Jamie is an empathetic and dedicated nurse who leads by example. He respectfully communicates with the patient, family, and visitors. As a model caregiver, Jamie is accountable and attentive. He is excellent at follow-up and always knows or finds the answers needed. He explains concepts and situations with ease so that we can make informed and educated decisions. Last night, I visited to feed dinner to the patient and was surprised to see Jamie patiently feeding him with significant care. I told him that I could do it, but he continued feeding while updating me on the patient’s day/status. I’ve learned that patients need advocates when hospitalized, but Jamie’s skill and bedside manner is unparalleled and put me at ease. Jamie is a talented and confident nurse, and Cleveland Clinic is lucky to have him!
