Jamie Ravenscroft, RN

Jamie has been our nurse at the Cumberland VA Clinic for a long time. She has always been so caring, respectful, and informative.

We know that whenever we need something, we can contact her, and it will be taken care of.

Recently, my husband was in the hospital and was going to be sent home on 3L of oxygen. I called Jamie, so upset about the situation. My husband was in Morgantown, and they wanted to send him home with one of their oxygen tanks. They said that once our oxygen was delivered, we would need to return their tank. I didn’t know what to do.

I called Jamie, and she told me to give her a few minutes and that she would return my call.

Jamie spoke with the home oxygen department, and they worked it out to have our oxygen delivered that night. This allowed us to take one of our tanks to the hospital the next morning for my husband's discharge while also ensuring we had oxygen waiting for him at home so we wouldn't run out.

She called me right back to notify me of all the details so I would know exactly what to do. This is what Jamie does. She contacts the people she needs to, figures out the plan, and then returns your call with all the information you need.

She cares so much for Veterans and their families.

We love her and are so lucky to have her.
