Jaime L was our daughter's charge nurse. She was a bright light during a tough time. She gave us parents information regarding where to eat, shower and where we'd be able to stay the night. She made sure we had what we needed. As our daughter's nurse she was wonderful and made sure our daughter was comfortable at all times. She spoke to her even though she was sedated. She treated our daughter's visitors as if they were guests in her own home. Jaime's sense of humor was a breath of fresh air for us all. It is nice to smile and feel normal, even while staying day after day in an ICU room.
