I feel that Jamie went above and beyond her call of duty as an RN because even though you could tell she was super busy, she was very patient and so kind. She listened to every word I said and met all my needs, especially starting my first IV, as you can ask the other nurses that tried to stick me.

Not only was she great at her job, but she had the patience to keep a smile on her face and talked with me while another staff member from another unit continuously disrespected her because she was ready to go home. The most important thing to Jamie was my wants and needs, such as the IV antibiotics that the doctor said needed to be done, while the other staff member only cared about leaving.

Not only was she able to physically fulfill my wants and needs, but she also helped calm me when I was upset and worried. She also calmed my grandson who was scared and worried. She was very fast and efficient when assisting with trying to get my port to return blood, dressing my feet, and keeping me constantly warm and pain-free. She also assisted me with my leaky catheter. She was very loving, caring, and gentle all while helping three other patients. She was multitasking her job while being a strong team leader and helping her co-workers. All the while being very humble in her work.

Personally, I love daisies and she will always be a DAISY in my eyes. She treated me with nothing but respect and kindness. I loved Jamie and truly believe she is a DAISY Nurse.
