Jamie Smith-Perry showed her care and compassion to me when I was in the hospital. She would go the extra mile and take care of things that were normally not her responsibility. She happened to be my nurse when I flat-lined. Jamie had just left my room when it happened and my husband said she was so upset that she wasn't with me. Jamie showed how much she cared for me later by expressing to me how happy she was to see that I was okay. Jamie always seemed glad to see me and gave me hugs even when she was not my assigned nurse. She made me smile.
