A Heartfelt Thank You to the Heroes Behind My Healing. Facing a new diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer and undergoing an ileostomy due to bowel obstruction was a life-altering experience. But what could have been a dark and overwhelming chapter became instead a powerful story of compassion, skill, and healing—because of the extraordinary people who cared for me during this time. I want to extend my deepest, most sincere gratitude to the remarkable individuals who stood beside me, cared for me, and gave me strength when I had none. To the Nurses – The Blessing of the Bunch
