The other night Jamie showed exceptional patient care, going above and beyond for a patient visiting from Sweden. The patient brought with them a home medication list in Swedish that was lost in the ER. The patient had the contact information for the pharmacy they used back in Sweden and Jamie took the time and effort to get ahold of this pharmacy to get the list of the patient's home medication. This wasn't an easy call as she had to not only find a phone that would allow her to make international calls but the phone number also had an automated system in Swedish that Jamie had to get translated to be able to select the correct option to get a person, who at least spoke English. It took Jamie several times to get the call completed and Jamie never gave up. This is a perfect example of how wonderful of a nurse Jamie always is to all her patients, she will always do whatever is needed to take the best care possible of all her patients and is an exceptional nurse and patient advocate.
