Jamie Zoccoli, RN
Jamie Zoccoli was an incredible nurse who truly went above and beyond while caring for my son. She showed such genuine compassion, not only providing him with exceptional care but also making sure I was okay and had everything I could possibly need.
Even when she wasn't assigned to us, she would still stop by to check in, which meant more than I could put into words.
When I received the difficult news that my son would be in the NICU for a while, she happened to run into me in the hallway and immediately knew I was struggling. Despite how busy Jamie was, she took the time to sit with me, talk, and give me a much-needed hug. In that moment, she wasn't just a nurse; she was a source of comfort and strength.
Her kindness, empathy, and dedication made such a hard time a little easier, and the love and care she showed my family will stay with me forever. I will always be grateful for her.
