As first-time parents, we're still learning and our child being in the hospital is no different. Jamille saw our inexperience and took the time during her shifts to get to know us and answer our questions, no matter how simple or silly the question was. During our 5+ day stay, she seemed to genuinely care about us and want to help us get discharged and succeed. She helped make this nerve-wracking experience a little easier. She gave us background and insight into the hospital instead of just directing us to a map. She has been a pleasure to work with on multiple shifts, and I 100% trust her with my son's care. Thanks Jamille for helping put some of our worries at ease and for making our stay a little less stressful. She deserves this award for going above and beyond her job description and providing extraordinary service to her patients and their families.
