Jan Carlo, BSN, RN

I underwent prostate surgery at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. Just an hour out of surgery, I was moved to a room for the night. When I arrived, I was experiencing significant lower GI pain and pressure. Jan came on duty for his night shift and immediately assessed my situation. He administered a combination of medications that alleviated nearly all the pain and pressure I had. His care throughout the night was also exceptional. Jan checked in on me often to administer medication and treatments to ensure I was as comfortable as can be.

While much of the above reflects the normal duties of a nurse, I believe Jan went above and beyond with his care for me. He answered many questions I had about my care and displayed an exceptional bedside manner. He was there when I needed him! In my opinion, Jan is a super nurse and a great representative of Covenant Medical Center. Well done, Jan!
