Jana Foster was always there to anticipate our needs and a lot of the time she knew what I needed before I even knew. She was so caring with us...almost mother-like without being unprofessional. I recall specifically one night that I was having a breakdown because my baby would not nurse from my breast. I felt like such a failure. Jana came into the room with me and assured me that I'm doing a good job. I really was ready to give up at that point and felt like a horrible mother...like I was just learning what I felt like everyone else knew how to do innately. Jana was so comforting and reassuring. She talked me through it, and really was the only reason I felt I could continue. The most important part to me was that she took time to sit there and coach me through the situation, even though it was the end of her shift, and it was time for her to go home. Jana truly cares about her patients and her job and it shows. My experience was a 10 out of 10 at Medical City Dallas because of Jana.
