Jana Gonzales is the only RN for 35 miles, and on a recent spring day, she sprang into action to save the life of a patient who had been stung by a bee. The 34-year old male was accompanied by a co-worker who stated he had been stung by a bee while clearing ditches.

Jana later recalled, "It was the worst case of anaphylaxis I have ever seen. He face was so swollen. I was scared. We hit him with everything - epinephrine, solumedrol, and Benadryl."

The patient recovered fully and is now the proud owner of 2 epi pens!
