Janay Postell, a 6 South Surgical nurse at MVH, receives daily compliments from her patients and families. A recent patient said,"Janay checked on me often and helped me with anything I needed." Another patient wrote,"I was cared for by a fantastic nurse named Janay on three of the five days I was there. She worked the day shift. She provided exceptional care above and beyond. She was very attentive and caring. She always had a big smile on her face. I really got the sense that she truly loves her job as a nurse. It shows on her face, in her actions and in her exceptional quality of care. I just wanted to write to let you know how awesome she is and how lucky Miami Valley Hospital is to have her as an employee."
Janay comes to work and exudes "positivity" with her coworkers. She willingly volunteers to assist any staff member. She is so pleasant, smiling and causing those around her to "lighten up". Patients request to have Janay as their nurse. She demonstrates compassion and care as she serves our patients. We appreciate having Janay on our 6SS team!
