Jane did some duties that went way beyond what you would expect. My wife was in the hospital for a "tick bite" and was very sick. Through those days Jane treated my wife as if she were family. We never saw her sit down, always checking on patients to see if they needed anything. We had a lot of questions about my wife's illness and Jane was always kind to listen and answer these questions. She always helped my wife through any physical situation that arose.
What was very impressive was to be present when Jane "handed off info" to the next shift. She was very thorough and detailed on what happened to my wife on her shift versus being in a hurry to get it done. Also, when my wife was discharged, Jane described "word for word" and again answered all our questions very politely. If you would take a hidden video of her it would be a great training video for new nurses. I understand there are more excellent nurses, but Jane is at the top. My wife is forever grateful for Jane's kindness, helpfulness, and patience she gave her for those 3 days.
