Last week my daughter, A, had her torn ACL repaired in outpatient surgery. My daughter is 16 years old and has not had to have any type of surgeries done so she was very nervous. To be honest, we were all very nervous. Jane was her nurse and she made us feel very relaxed plus she took very good care of us. I did not know that while we were talking that Jane was collecting information about A so that she could pass that info on to the OR nurse. The OR nurse was able to then carry on a conversation with A to keep her mind off of how nervous she was. Jane took very good care of A before the surgery and after the surgery! I cannot express how wonderful she was and how she made us feel! The hospital is lucky to have such a great employee for 45 years and the patients are even luckier! Everyone worked very well together and it was nice to see such great teamwork! We would like to say thank you to Jane for taking care of our daughter and for being a great caregiver at our local community hospital. Thank you!
