A comatose patient in the ICU was being cared for by Jane Johnson. She learned from his daughter that the daughter would be going to prom later that week and had always wanted to take her pre-prom photos with her dad. His being in the hospital was no different, so she would be coming up to Shepherd on prom night. Jane gave another staff member money to buy a card a flowers in her absence so that the patient could suprise his daughter on prom night. The daughter came to take photos with her dad on prom night and saw her dad, turned towards the door with flowers tucked in one arm and a card in the other, and cried happy tears.
