When I started as a new pediatrician 10 years ago, Jane was the first person who welcomed me to the clinic. She was so warm and inviting, and I was so nervous! It really put me at ease. I see the same warmth, inclusion and support offered to all of our patients and families every day. As our RN Health Coach, Jane provides coordination, expertise, support, and comfort to kids with very complex medical illnesses. She provides this care without judgment, even with some very difficult situations. She brings ideas and innovation along with a passion to our Pediatric Medical Home team and has been a champion of medical home for more than a decade. I cannot imagine providing care for a kid with complex needs without her support. Jane is the type of nurse who is a combination of mind reader, sage, therapist and magician. She is very humble, always quick to recognize the contribution of others above her own. Her years of experience coupled with her innate intelligence and willingness to ask questions is unmatched. I couldn't do my job effectively without her, and I want her to know just how much she brings to our corner of the world! Our early career nurses can benefit so greatly by her example.

I have known Jane since July 1988 when she was a Peds ICU nurse. At present, she manages our Medical Home Team. Very knowledgeable in her work. Very polite and kind to patients. Her clinical skills and compassion with sick kids are amazing.

Jane is very dedicated to each of the patients she encounters and is passionate about ensuring that all is done to help every child that can be done. She is doggedly determined to advocate for the health care needs of kids, but especially for those with special needs and complex medical conditions. She goes the extra mile to make certain that each detail is attended to.
She is very persuasive, and it is not possible to ignore her requests. She never says no when asked for assistance to help in the management of a patient.
Even though she has been doing this good work for many years, she continues to do what is needed with infectious energy.

Jane goes above and beyond for her patients 100% of the time. She is an amazing patient advocate. She helps to manage our most complex medical home patients. I have several medical home patients at the present time. Without ever being asked to do so, Jane accompanies me into exam rooms of our mutual patients to offer her expertise, to interact with patients and their families, and to help ensure that all involved with the patient are "on the same page" and understand the current status and plan of care. I constantly overhear her on the phone with patients to get updates and offer guidance and support. She has a gentle way with patients and parents that really helps to put a mind at ease. They love her! All the pediatricians in my groups rely on her heavily and would have difficulty performing our jobs as successfully without support. She is greatly appreciated.

Not one big thing with Jane. Thousands of small efforts she does every day that adds up to a big outcome for our medical home patients. Our clinic is so lucky to have Jane!
