As a nurse advocate and her love for the profession Jane Sullivan began The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses at Little Company of Mary Hospital in May of 2012.

For the past 16 months Jane gathered her team and went to a nursing unit to "surprise" the extraordinary nurse who may have been nominated by a patient/patient's family/co-worker/doctor.

As the 17th DAISY Honoree Jane received the DAISY certificate, a DAISY Award pin, a hand-carved stone sculpture entitled a Healer's Touch, white daisies and Cinnabon cinnamon rolls and our Congratulations and Thanks.
