Jane has been an instrumental part of the team of nurses taking care of a group of boys in a Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy trial. Jane is one of the boys' favorite infusion nurses. Her dedication to their care and well-being during their weekly visits means the world to her patients and their families. Jane has most recently gone above and beyond by taking it upon herself to plan parties for the boys nearing completion of the drug trial. The look on these boys' faces when they receive a cake and a certificate signed by all of their favorite nurses is priceless, and they have Jane to thank for that. She has truly made their time at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinic meaningful and memorable. I feel very lucky to work alongside such a kind and dedicated person.
