Janelle has been very involved and integral in the success of the reduction of HAI (hospital acquired infection) in the SICU via the Infection Prevention Team. She developed standard work, educated her peers and house floats, audited compliance and fully supports and expects her peers to perform at a high level in the prevention of HAI.
Janelle's patient care delivery is individualized to each patient she cares for to gain the best outcomes for her patients. She provides the best and most current evidence-based care to her patients, which is a great strength for her as she passes along this information in her role as a SSN (senior staff nurse).
