During this leader's time with the Medical Group, they have always demonstrated the qualities of a true leader. They do this by sharing their nursing expertise with all the clinical support staff for BHMG South. They conduct daily shadowing sessions for staff, providing them guidance and sharing best practices; they educate our preceptors to ensure the new clinical staff is properly onboarded, and they provide phlebotomy and clinical skills refresher classes. Their commitment and dedication are highlighted through their mentorship of Medical Assistant Scholars. These are MA students completing their clinical rotations at our practice locations. They are seen by leaders, providers, and staff as a subject matter expert relating to best practices and competency. They always educate and coach staff in a caring and compassionate manner. The staff sees them as their resource and support system. In all, they do this with one goal in mind: keeping our patients safe by ensuring our staff is competent and knowledgeable to perform their clinical tasks.
