Janelle McPherson, BSN, RN

I want to call your attention to the actions of Janelle McPherson, a nurse here at Nazareth Hospital. I was consulted to see a patient who was Albanian speaking. I needed the language interpretation application to provide an Albanian interpreter, but the application was not working properly. Janelle saw what was happening and helped me, she pulled up the interpretation application and was able to get an Albanian interpreter very quickly. This may sound like a simple act on Janelle's part, but I think it was really significant. She helped improve this patient's care and demonstrated initiative and professionalism. It is obvious that she cares about her patients and is willing to use her energy and intelligence to engage in problem-solving to help her patients.
